How much time do I need for each unit?
The video tutorials usually last between 45 and 120 minutes. In almost every unit you will learn to sew a new piece of clothing, so plan more time for the realization. If you can’t get to sewing, it doesn’t matter, but at least watch the videos so you get all the professional tips.
Ideally, we recommend sewing 3-4 hours per week. More time to practice is an advantage. But even if you don’t get to practice, you can make up for it later, as the videos remain accessible during and after the course.
What materials are needed?
Each unit is accompanied by a PDF document “Materials list, fabric consumption and cutting position.” It contains all the information you need to purchase the materials. In addition, each course unit includes a video in which the master tailor Stefan Wimmer gives several tips for the material. Already at the beginning of the course, in addition to the first unit, the video “ Your studio equipment” is unlocked. In this video, Stefan Wimmer explains exactly what you need to get started.
Is this for beginners or advanced learners?
Many participants have decades of experience sewing as a hobby or working as industrial seamstresses, and some even have their master certification and want to see how other tailor shops operate.
